RESORT. Aghios Georgios North is reputed to be one of the most beautiful and greenest
resorts of the island. It is a popular destination for its long sweep of soft sands and crystal
clear blue waters. If you fancy getting out and about, why not rent a pedalo or a boat to visit
the hidden inlets along the coastline? Porto Timoni has two small coves separated by a strip of
land and there is also a path leading to the small chapel which was built on the rocks when the
icon of St. Stilianos was discovered there.
CORFU TOWN. If Corfu town inspires your interest there is always the option of taking the bus that stops
outside the hotel and costs about 3.50 euro each way! While in Corfu you can visit the Liston,

ANGELOKASTRO. In the village of 'Krini' there is one of the most important Byzantine castles of Greece.
It is located at the top of the highest peak of the island's shoreline offering magnificent views of the Ionian Sea.
Despite its location on the steep hill, the engineering of its construction is considered outstanding.
Angelokastro played a vital role in 1571 in defending the island from the Turkish navy.
TRADITIONAL VILLAGES. Some of the nearby villages can be reached by walking!
A walk along the olive groves will take you to the picturesque villages of 'Paghi'
-as seen in the James Bond film- and to 'Afionas' from where you can enjoy spectacular views
of the bay and delicious donuts from the local bakery! From 'Afionas' you can head down to the
bays of 'Arillas' and 'San Stefanos'. You can either walk or rent a car/bike to visit the historic
villages of 'Makrades' for its characteristic traditional houses and homemade products, and 'Lakones'
for stunning views of the bay.
MONASTERY. In the village of 'Aghios Athanasios' you will find the Orthodox monastery
of 'Pantokrator' built in 1835 and currently home to more than 25 nuns.
